Ion got hit again today. Big hit, it might be 60% in total by now since the recent (end of 2014) round of layoffs. The weird thing is that I heard salaried people got bonuses recently. What mixed messages.

Please take it easy on Renee. Tough times are hitting her too - she sold her horse last year. Not kidding - see her facebook post from Feb 24th.
Besides having access to the company event tickets and spending money on useless internal videos, what does Renee really do?

I assume Brian and the VP's kids will still be able to get drunk there this season.
how WOULD the company survive without those guys fore mentioned ? They should continue to can the money makers and keep the vp kid crowd, recipe for success no?

Surprise - VP's kids survived another round of layoffs. Renee Rataczek, Michael Dudley, Shawn Rice, Elson Smith and Katie Allinson are still here to guide us through these trying times with their inexperience and uselessness. On the plus side, Renee got great seats to the Rodeo, so we have that going for us.

the company is on its knees, rough times ( for all except the execs if you look at annual report top guys took salary raises ) . My opinion is the company won't make it past June

Deep cut, the fun doesn't stop. Cut to the core, at this point they are just firing people, protecting who they can. Yes, they did just give bonuses out. The restructure just separates groups so they are easier to parcel out and sell off. At least they were still giving packages out. Getting bought out would be the best option right now, even though it lets the C suite head for the life boats first. Times are too sad to even be angry about the piss poor management at this point.
If you ain't a VP, related to a VP, or a close drinking buddy of a VP you are gonna get canned. They just looking after friends and family until the money runs out.
