Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

There was once a statement made about reducing a tier of management, did this ever happen?

Has any management or PGL's been laid off? How can they justify reducing headcount by 10-25% but leave the same amount of management and supervision? Was the press release bullshit?

I was a manager and was let go last week. Not sure how I went from EX last year with my boss telling me I was very good at my job to being replaced by someone senior to me but with much less relevant experience and subject matter expertise.

There was a tier of middle management let go in 2015. PDCs were among those let go. Not all mind you, but a significant %.

I think that laying off management is against corporate policy.
