GE is not in the position in wasting good money on a declining oil economy. This lull will last into Q2 2018! Acquisition payback will take too long. Look for GE to build more advance infrastructure overseas. Higher returns and less dependent on US politics affecting domestic markets.

Barrel prices aren't affecting drilling in UAE or the rest of the Middle East!!!!

I heard if the HAL deal doesn't go through, GE is buying us (BHI). Would we get a discount for fridges, ovens, light bulbs and jet engines?
