I am entering my 6th month here. When I joined I thought that IBM need to fix a few things, to re-align, and to catch up with the rest of the technology giants (Apple, Google, etc.)
But after a few months here it's clear that no such attempt is being made, the executive line-up does not want to attract talent. They are cheap, nickle-diming employees, cannibalizing it's own workforce.
There is no long term thinking, it's a dog eats dog world, laced with career traps and full of backstabbing activities. IBM is a total disaster and I cannot wait to bail.
