I tried it. re: (Anybody that works in a Kmart store can login on the sign machine and see which Sears and Kmart's are closing. Click on the Kmart icon and look for the words Vendor Portal. Click on the words Vendor Portal and login and you can see all the Sears and Kmart stores that have closed, are going to close and when they will close. I used to check it daily until my job was eliminated 3/4/2016 on my 38yr anniversary.) I was surprised to Not see our store listed. So, is this an accurate and full list? Why are we able to see it? You must be about my age. I hope it is a blessing in disguise for you to be done with this whole stinking suffering we have been put through. Blessings to you. No. You can not see the store closings in the in the Sears stores. This was for the Vendors that deliver to the Kmart's, like food and beverage.

P.S. Thanks for your kind words. I started Sears right out of high school, 16yrs as an auto mechanic and 22yrs as a QMT. I was let go on a three way conference call with my boss and someone from HR. I will never set foot in a Sears or Kmart again. I always bought anything my family needed from Sears/Kmart even though it cost me more because I thought it was helping keep the company and my job going. Boy was I wrong. J.C.Penney did the same thing to my wife about 8yrs ago. She had 29yrs with them (again right out of high school) and we haven't missed them one bit. Good Luck to you if you decide to stay or leave.

It is for the Vendors making deliveries to the stores. It lets them know when to stop making deliveries because the store is closing. The receiving manager used to tell me that the Coke guy, Pepsi guy or others vendors would tell them that they heard a curtain store was closing and of course the receiving manager did not know and would ask me. Of course I did not know either until I stumbled upon this Vendor Portal looking for a way to log on to my email because they always kept changing the way we login. You need to keep checking it because it changes often. I have been checking it for the last year and it has been accurate. I knew when stores were closing before my boss and store managers. My boss or store managers knew about the site. I was a QMT.
