Give the man a chance and a raise, he's only the 19th worst CEO on this list

Even some of the companies that performed the worst still gave their CEOs hefty raises. Weatherford International PLC, an oil services company, gave CEO Bernard Duroc-Danner a 13.4% raise to $14.9 million despite a negative 26.1% return to shareholders and plans to lay off 15% of its workforce.

A Weatherford spokesperson said the CEO received a salary boost because the company’s share price outperformed industry peers when oil companies are struggling to adapt to lower crude prices. The company also met most of its performance goals, including cost cuts.

Shareholders need to be looking at these threads and see the truth of what's really going on in the field and behind closed doors. Someone should be taking names and not just over looking the fact that the top CEO is to blame. He orchestrated these critical events during a bust and has really damaged this company's reputation, whether or not they see that! From the 1st round layoff in 2014, bonuses were increased, SAP to JDE implementation occurred and very expensive might I add and multiple IT teams were created, travel, non stop P card abuse, screwed up accounting system that paid 2-3 times for the same invoices, incompetent purchases, frivolous use of company vehicles and so much more that could have been halted. It's the spending habit of this leader whom drove the company into the ground! Not the bust so don't think for one second that something so big on the inside has to do with the outside. This Leader should have been all about doing the right thing besides selling his stocks. He should have been gone over a year ago!
