Yes very sad. Unfortunately there will be more departments outsourced. Hard to believe since the IT outsource to Wipro was such a disaster. Good luck to everyone left

I was laid off last year from the DC and I loved my job and still miss it to this day. But I have a new job that is way less stressful and a management team here that cares about my family. When I was at Mattel there were times I had to miss my kids things on the weekend. I would tell my Boss can I come in after my kids events and I was told no that if I did not come in I wouldnt have a job. But then there were other people in my team that wouldnt come in because they used the excuse that they lived to far. Now I do not have that problem as my new place of work actually works around my family schedule. So if you get laid off please know there is better! I am proof of it.
Don't worry! It will be OK! YOU will be OK!
Look at it this way: There will be more and you have a jump start on getting that better job that's out there - ahead of the pack!
Please tell me they gave you a decent severance package?
