The Experienced and disenchanted are leaving. For those of you who assume that just because the oil industry is in a downturn the gifted, talented, and marketable are at the mercy of the company, they need to reevaluate. In 2005 WFT purchased PDS where they assumed many froms of teams unlike any others. Many teams were the founders of many innovations with countless patients and knowledge. These individuals represent a few generations of the absolute irreplaceable. This knowledge of experience is beyond what the vast majority would be capable and/or fathom of aquiring over their duration. The industry as a whole will advetully rebound and the knowledgable are being treated better somewhere else. Many of the young and green engineers today are so clueless to the dynamics of the instilled innovation, they'll never get it.
