I don't know how many were laid off at NOV Cedar Park. The managers are very tight lipped about the actual number and the severance pay agreements are confidential. The severance pay agreements are worded more like bribes of the employees to purchase immunity from lawsuits.

Just remember, friends, when your over 40 and have to sign that paper that says if you want your severance you have to sign away your legal rights to sue for age (or disability) discrimination there is a wonderful thing a labor lawyer told me:
"Corporate policy does NOT supersede federal labor law."
