SLB and HAL are profitable because they keep laying people off!!!! Period!

Unlike COP, SLB is still profitable. However, the way that I look at it is that if companies like SLB and HAL are not hiring and laying off staff, this makes finding a job after a layoff from COP to be difficult.
So this is an indication of what is to come at COP. Layoffs are coming!!!!!!!!
