NOV have announced a further 520 layoffs in Norway, following the 2400 already laid off. With the latest announced layoffs is the total workforce in Norway reduced from approx. 5000 to approx. 2000. Further reductions are expected, as the marked outlook for offshore rigs are grim in the medium term perspective.
