Whenever you quit or are fired, it may take anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks for the adjudicator to make a decision. If you are denied and file an appeal, it may add even more weeks.

He may gualify but Halliburton dosn't have to pay because he left on his own. If he came on as a commuter travel cost is on you anyway, when things are good they pay it, but they don't have to.
😍
I second that. Idiot.
If a person quits their job they can qualify for unemployment if it is for hardship reasons Such as when your paychecks become smaller than the cost of travel. I for one refuse to stay with a company that is so hard up that they let you go with no more than an f... You. So yes there are extenuating circumstances and you can file. In 5 years I have put 4 kids through college and have not been able to save for this unfortunate problem. So for some people finding a job is not an option. We don't know the guy situation to call him an idiot.
IDIOT!
I don't think that any company has to pay unemployment if you leave. Because it's your fault that you are unemploied not theirs. In the future find a new job first.
