Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Is the CAM Valve mfg. plant in Edmonton required??

SLB, here is a tip to save on operating costs.

The Cameron Valve division at Edmonton builds the valves from more than 80% of the components ($ wise and component wise) sourced from Asia. Poor actuation presence. Complicated jobs pushed to the distributors. And distributors will end up getting the business from those customers in future for which the cheap Asian stuff can be sold. Cameron/SLB are you listening????

Wouldn’t it be prudent to assemble these valves in Asia as most other North American valve manufacturers do now?

CAM V&M got rid of the outspoken and the brilliant guys and is left with the yes-men and the cronies now.
