All I ever hear about is how thank god he has seniority because anyone with less than 10 years is often facing pay cuts, time cuts, or just being laid off, meanwhile the older guys who are 65 and should have retired stay on get over a month of vacation, a pension, and pay increases.
Unions, people need to understand, are not beacons of pure light. They can be corrupted just like anything else and the Mob knows this, so why don't we? They're good ol boy clubs with a legal status allowing people to use things like blackmail and strong arm tactics. Unions are good but we need to keep them in check as well, especially when you have so much power in one place. Money, politics, power, what could possibly attract corruption to these organizations lol.
