Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Inside Communication

Communication @Oracle is poor at best. Often, employees hardly know what is going on throughout the company. Decisions are almost always made with haste without communicating to all diverse groups we have. A lot of lower level employees concern or opinions are not important. The reputation of this company is definitely shifting - I started 11 months ago and I have concerns now.

I agree. Sorry you are having trouble and that you have a manager that is not sharing or not communicating, and that is unfortunate. Take matters into your hands as suggested. Heav been at Oracle 12 years and, while change is sometimes hard, you have to be be bold.

If you and your manager aren't communicating and you've reached out to them multiple times, reach out to their manager. You control your information flow. I happen to have a great manager, have been with Oracle for 10+ years. It is what you put into a position.
