This is key. The Medical profession is essentially a government-sanctioned cartel. Nurses and Doctors must be licensed and admitted to practice. Lawyers work in a similar way, right?. No matter how skilled you may be, if you don't have a license, it's illegal for you to practice. You can't just jump on a plane and start work in the USA.
They have rules, and they enforce them with the State monopoly on violence.
Imagine if that were the case for Engineering?
This isn't an H1-B problem. This is a greedy CEO problem. And long before the H1-B problems, engineers always get treated crappy. Even back in the Aerospace Glory Days, engineers were treated like crap when there were no H1-Bs.
So again, H1-Bs and indians are not the problems. There are already a lot of asian and indian doctors and that has not affected this profession. Since this profession is protected.
Don't be a doctor either, India has alot of med schools, once the H1B gate for healthcare is opened, your kids will drown too.
Encourage them to in the military services. can't have H1Bs there. Be Rambo and go create havoc in other foreign countries, and make your country proud.
