"At The Superinvestor Bulletin all we do is focus on the investments that great investors like Buffett make. In the case of IBM what we would be inclined to say is that we would be much more interested in owning Berkshire.
Why? Plenty of reasons:

It has a better balance sheet

It has a better CEO

It is diversified across many businesses"
