Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

a DCG VP emphasized on disruption in the industry and we should follow suit. Sure enough, BK is the lead for disruption.

I am relishing the commotion inside the company. There is ERP exit that was recalled to return with a retention bonus until his critical task is done. Many left without coverages. DCG products expect to delay by at least one quarter. We just can't produce this year 2016.

Why would you be loyal to a company that treats you like sh*t!? Of course there is no loyalty. If there was it would be called Stockholm Syndrome!

There are people in critical projects received VSP. These people are long time Intel employees and hence their VSP package was so good. They don't want to forgo it. They also easily able to find another job. I have seen people successfully obtained out of fashion retention bonus to stay till site closure. Hey, it's business transaction nowadays. No more loyalty in the company.

Why would someone be offered ERP and then recalled?!

I hope the extra $ they paid him was considerable! He must have had Intel over a barrel.
