I am refering to a post here (Post ID @HPShMoK-vfg ) that claims 1/4 staff cuts. I left in 2014 and really have no clue what's going on. I know that Hurd loves 'financial discipline' but 1/4 may be a bit too steep...

The channel layoff is now official:

Really now way to know unless you're in hr or upper management. I learned of one person being let go yesterday when he connected with me on LinkedIn and I checked his profile. They're just so darn good at doing it stealthily...
I am in sales and know of 6 people on my team that were let go. I heard of more in other divisions.
Basically all of folks that actually know how to architect/engineer solutions using Oracle technology (within hybrid ecosystems containing a lot more). What's left are straight sales, very product-specific SEs....no more "value selling", the buzzword of the last couple of years.
It was just SCs. Several of my team were let go and some managers.
