it is weird with Microsoft HR policies they just 6 days notice for some of them and others 60 days. there is no transparency regarding the criteria during this layoff announcement in may 2016.
with immigrants this is a major hurdle as u need to find a new employer almost immediately to protect your out of status. cruel policies for such a big company.
