Does anyone hear the layoff rumor again?? When will it be? End of Year? Why? Bc of loss of 50% modem? But the company is recruting new people, right? Or it's just dummy job opening?? So confused....

Q is not done but it is over employed if the main business is chipset which is right now. Paul's lack of vision screwed the company and put us in deep s-it. SM took over a pile of poo from the Jacobs and must now come up with bright ideas. Drone? Car? Mmmmm.... Hard to say. Chinese are getting good in both areas. Management is poor and engineers are expendable.
No one believes that stock will hit $100 by the end of the year. Not even the one who wrote it. It was clearly a joke.

CurryComm has too many employees in North Americas and will have to reduce costs (layoff) due to declining revenues, that are the consequence of the rise of stronger, cheaper competition from Apple, Huawei, Samsung, Intel, Mediatek, Xiaomi, etc... Cell phone market is consolidating.
You have to wait for fiscal year. Current hiring is to fill out staff for people leaving the company so there is budget for that. Otherwise budgets are assigned to the groups when fiscal year starts, around September.
No more layoff, shut up, and don't spread out this kind of stupid rumar again.
