Surely Uncle Dave will receive some kind of a bonus for his "strategic vision", even though it didn't work out.

Uncle Dave will say that he saw this coming, and was reluctant to speak out, for fear of 'disrupting' the process.

All HAIL Uncle Dave!

How do you like Dave and Jeff now ???????????

We could have survived the oil glut alone, but we're down the tubes now..............

Lots of great people trying to patch together their lives now, upper management blew this one.

Cheney and Bush aren't around anymore to help..................

We LOSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do believe that operating losses from subsidiaries planned for divesture were not included in operating losses. But were moved to something along the lines of auxiliary merger costs a couple of quarters ago.

I Expect a bigger write down much larger than just 3.5 billion for the failed merger.

As well, subsidiaries for sale were structured with an appealing market share. Now they need to be structured to survive and be profitable.

3.8 billion down down the drain, plus the unknown sums of money spent on planning for the divestitures. All of those contractors, lawyers, etc.

Money well spent, you dumb feks...oh, and I'm sure the divestiture PSL peeps are feeling really welcome at HAL again...
