Norway Helicopter Disaster

Lets get away from all this talk on Halliburton Lay Offs & Merger

Last Friday there was a disaster in the Norwegian sector whilst flight returning from Gullkaks oil field this resulted in 13 people losing there lifes. 4 of these work collegues worked for Halliburton 1 a friend of mine from aberdeenshire Scotland.

It hurts me also that there has been no emails from top level managers with in Halliburton doing all they can to help the loved ones familys that shall be suffering at this present time with this loss.

As the company states we care and honour our work collegues so where is the words to show this not only to the loss but also to there loved ones. RIP

Very sad and tragic indeed. All of a sudden 13 lives lost, 4 of 'em HAL employees, for no fault of theirs. Very sad day for the company and the industry. RIP

Halliburton are heartless bastards with spineless management. Merely a number here no matter how long you've been with the company

Understood. We had a tech go missing, was eventually found drown, while fishing. He worked at NB Sperry manufacturing. While he was missing, some workers wanted to take some time off to search for him. Management (bossiness unit manager and plant manager) played the hard asscard and would not let people have time off in such short notice.
