No major cuts in FEs, that's what I heard from a very reliable source. Most of the cuts are from elsewhere for some reason, the FE's are sacred. I have no idea why or know what they do that's so special.

I heard that they are not cutting FE's, only the useless rotten deadwood.

This makes sense. FE's in ETC were nearly untouched in Project Alpha. It's about time they adjusted to the nightmare.

Yes Indeed, Lets hope that we can cut out some of the redundant deadwood.

It appears the reorg news is true. Check Paul's recent announcement. New vp in etc to merge fe with uc. Let's hope all of etc goes this way and we can reduce redundancies.

You do understand that the rate you pay ETC is not an equivalent measure to that of a third party rate. You do understand why there is an ETC, correct? It's all about the money.

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm all about more cuts in ETC, but get your facts straight.

I beleive you, 2fau. The ETC Manager made excuses for the poor feedback you honestly gave to one of his direct reports, because the feedback ultimately reflects back on him. That's the modus operandi of most every Chevron supervisor and manager. They cover up and push back on criticism that could affect them, especially in these times where there's a witch hunt on for people to layoff.

Get rid of all of ETC. They are pigs at the trough. I can hire a third party company for less that produces twice as much in the same amount of time. Oh and I can get rid of the contractor any time I want. I have bad feedback on an etc employee who worked for me and the manager made excuses for the poor results and bad behaviors.

@HdxTVBh-war this is what I've been hearing too. Some sort of reorg. At what capacity? Been told it hasn't been decided

You can call it what you want, a ESP, a PDC, a ROM but the results are the same. The executive leadership is saying one thing about more layoffs and then others are calling it a fall PDC.

Don't piss on my foot and tell me it's raining.

Ive heard the same. There will be a fall PDC. My guess is there will be additional asset sales, natural attrition and people not wanting to move when they consolidate offices, etc. 8000 will be the target and magically they will get where they want to go. They wont need a rom or ESP to do it.
