Through all of this we have not lost one person in the PM&L group at our camp how about anyone else?

That's because those of us in pm&l that are worth a damn are too busy saving the company millions . You better check again. I know for a fact we have to pay out the assbecause our venders charge extra for waiting to get paid. Everyone hates american express too, i would be willing to bet thay we would save more by not using that card than the company gets back from them. PM&L costs the company millions with their slow outdated policys.
Ahh yes bash the ones in pm&l that actually obtained a college education and will continue to move up in the company. While some field hands are educated most are not. They are mostly rednecks that live in Podunk towns and have never left. They find girlfriends on farmersonly.com and make sure they are not related first. Sure with massive overtime some of them make 6 figure incomes but they are too dumb to know to save it and instead go buy a 60,000 truck and put big tires on it and buy a speed boat to impress all their toothless friends. Then the next year when they are out of work and making 50k a year they trade it in and buy a used Corolla. All the while they live in a 110k house that hopefully isn't a double wide and park the 60,000 truck in the front yard in the mud.
Sounds like the poster below me is being a pissy little prick because he knows field hands are the first to go when there's no work. Despite what they think field hands are not the only people that make money for this company. In fact they are the ones that probably make the least amount of money for this company. They are at the end of the stream and pull the levers that's all.
If no one is working what do you need to buy? And venders for what? It's okay get back in the cubical before someone finds out your hiding.
I'm not trying to be a dick it's just that PM&L still has tons to do. We can renegotiate pricing with vendors, Write new contracts, etc... Field hands however do one thing. Work on rigs. If there is no use for a rig you have no work. Hence why most of us remain busy and employed
