Baker says they have $100 million per quarter in redundancies that were withheld to satisfy takeover obligations. They are now prepared to make those cuts. How deep is it gonna be for Directional at Halliburton?

Who knows... Every DD company has had a tough year lots of different reasons in every scenario
I thought it was only in Canada where Sperry got butchered in terms of market share. We were always told that Sperry is busy even if the market is down, or Sperry will send you overseas and keep you busy.
Things have changed. Is it the technology is getting old? Oil companies have a beef with Sperry from the past? Pricing self out of market, can't compete price wise with mid size players? No one wanted to business with a likely divested company?
Mainly mid size DD companies but SLB/Baker/WFT all have work
who are in the market in Eagle Ford? Is there a reason Sperry has little to no work in the shale?
Schlum has more jobs running than Sperry and is still in Canada via pacesetter so yes, it can be used as a reference
Deep would be my guess.. They don't have any work in the eagle ford and doesn't sound like NE is doing good either..
Shlums Anadril pulled out of Canada. Yikes!! Using Schlum as reference not a good idea.
After all the Northeast is the heartbeat of directional drilling... Give us a break pal.
All of it. Baker has all the work. Weatherford has 2 rigs and are one f up from shutting down in the northeast. Never thought I would see this. Scientific Drilling is kicking asstoo.
Use SLB as your ref. They have to cut to stay competitive.
