My husband has survived the last few layoffs. He is a great worker and works hard for his girls. I pray that he doesn't get laid off. We will loose our home and break our family apart. Just making ends meet on the regular check he receives. We are fortunate that his coworkers helps us in the past.
Will anyone help out now?
My husband hasn't came home since Friday morning leaving to work.
I am worried.
No not bitter at all It is what it is. That is a part of life. Just keep it moving. No hand outs needed. My faith is strong that is why I can move on and give it to the almighty. He is the one in control. I am a survivor.Change the thought process and think about the ones that are worst off that you, You have opportunity. You stay in the United States of America. If you can't go get a job flipping burgers or what ever shame on you. You choose to be in the situation you are in. It starts with you. Bitter I think not. Blessed!

Why do you think your family is entitled to a job or a handout? This is the oilfield..we go through ups and downs. Change professions if you can't handle the ride.... And don't you think your husband would be ashamed if you were asking for a handout? This is America...Jobs everywhere if you are willing to work.
Make sure when he gets home he gets a hot supper then a hotter bed. He'll work hard all right.
How about you help your husband out and get a job. If the girls are old enough make them get a part time job. I was laid off also in November 2015. Life goes on. What is so important about this Aldine Facility? Do the spouses think this is the only facility affected by the oil industry. Lady get a life. Give your husband his balls back and have him find another job if needed to be. You get a job and help your husband.
