Does anyone has any insight what will the Doug Davis and HR meeting be about? On what criteria will the additional layoff be based on?

It was a site wide meeting lead by Doug presumably cuz he's the most senior CH person. It was an interesting open forum. Some insights - they said the % of affected people was the same across all grade levels, and that was something they looked at; it just feels like lower grades /IC's took a bigger hit because they are a larger percentage of the population (12k total managers in the company.). Ogden acknowledged that 1 bad year could do you in. Doug said repeatedly to talk to your manager to see where you stand re: VSP. In typical Doug fashion he was very politically correct, while Ogden was (thankfully) more direct.
So, Monday is come and gone. Any news from the IOTG meeting?
Chandler closing Q4, consolidate to Ocotillo
Overall Chandler site has very weak VP leadership at this point across all business units.. Chandler could probably be vacated over the next 5-10 years, similar to other sites.. Buildings are just buildings.. to be built one day and torn down in the future..
Please post their answers in detail once you get them, this could help us in PEG and other orgs see what's in store for us.
The invite says this meeting with HR is to discuss questions about ACT.
Despite rumors to the contrary, IOTG and chandler continue to get hit pretty hard with ISP, VSP, ERP, consolidations, and TBD with no replacements. VSP were encouraged to take it.
For god sake leave Intel. Why do you guys put up with this crap. What a night mare.
The meeting where you have to swipe your badge to get into ? WTF?
What Monday meeting? I don't see one on my calendar;-(
Ah Ton, he was IOTG's first connected worker.
Davis runs circles around his predecessor the weird looking, little bald alien from the Netherlands who spent half his time chasing every skirt in the division...
IOTG has to hit its reduced targets. Guessing -10%. Almost all IOTG reqs were closed. Don't expect clear answers in this Q&A based on past forums. You should expect more justifications, focus on transformation, supporting ACT, skill set remix, and indicating change still coming.
Doug is a great leader, we're worse off for him leaving. The meeting on Monday is a Q&A, I doubt anything will be announced.
Iotg run by a gang of cronies that have been around for 30+ years each. Sorry to see lower heads roll and the cronies stick around to bank a few more million in RSUs and bonuses...
Funny that Davis really got screwed by BK. He's not an impressive leader, albeit a better disposition than that sicko Murthy.
Probably to discuss criteria and separation packages for the next round of layoffs?
Doug == lame duck
Why is Doug still around? Hose should have been promoted by now eh??
Isn't doug already a lame duck? I highly doubt any decision is being made by him, nor does he have anything more than feedback from past good times to the new hatchet man.
Doug gets the shaft because he only provided low double digit growth for his division, while Aicha gets a retention bonus for losing $3B annually. With leadership like this, who needs competition.
Doug looked like a broken man when Murthy had his puppet show a last week
