No, thats where the payoffs come from you idiot. If they drop the contractors then they don't get the checks from inflating the bills. The managers are so damn crooked in this company it's sad. And no one will do anything about it because they just get paid off.
Probably not many contractors getting paid to post bullshit here like you are.
Contractors are also cheaper - no benefits, no termination costs, just like renting a crane. Plus the other benefits so eloquently stated below.
