It's just an observation that it seems like a lot of intel's exec hires outside of the company tend to be folks that weren't very successful at their former company

All but the most useless external hire brought into my group left or was driven away in less than 2 years (most within 12 months). She (the one of six still at Intel) seems to have taken to the game like it was second nature.

Intel execs tend to put their crony TAs into leadership positions
Donkeys tend to hire donkeys. Monkeys tend to hire monkeys. INTEL executive managers tend to hire low performing executives that failed miserably at their previous gig.
More like too many people in Intel leadership who have never worked anywhere else in roles way over their heads...
And we wonder why the culture has become inbred and political.
