Any word on how the victims in each team were picked? Is this VSP or ISP?

MVE cuts have already started. Looks like the pkg is ISP equivalent to VSP with rehire option. Exit date is June 30 unless you can find a same grade job in another org by then.

One of the criteria is this: Let us say you have a group that has digital designers, firmware/software designers, architects etc. If all the architects are co-located and so are the digital designers but the firmware group is split across two sites, it is likely to make it more efficient the smaller group will be eliminated. Even if both are Core sites this can happen. It can happen even IF the smaller group is much more talented than the larger group.
How do they know if I am efficient or not? They are not my managers. I don't wear Mica Bracelet, don't have charging bowl , don't fly drones. I will get the boot for sure
