H1b managers only hire H1b workers. If you are 45+ and an American born non-Indian in Silicon Valley, you're fuked. To be fair to both sides, the H1b management abuse the hell out of "their people" because if the lose their job they lose their h1b sponsor. Once that happens they could up back in Bangalore, swimming in sh-- because basic sanitation is still a mystery for most of India.
