The product development part of Oracle is greatly outnumbered by the sales and services organizations.

It is the only company perhaps where majority of the company employees dont report to CEO, ie any of the two CEOs of Oracle. Most of the development org report to Thomas Kurian who does not report to any of the two CEO. Weird I think.
It is extremely political inside the company to grow! esp for a front line manager.
