I read this board every day because it's a habit and because it's quite entertaining. Every single day people complain about leadership, not liking the company, who should leave, layoffs etc. Now yes, I will agree that we have entirely two many VP'S with less than 5 people if that under them, but what I don't understand is why get on here and compassion. If you are that unhappy go find another job PERIOD. There reality is you work for a business that owes you absolutely nothing. Sad but true. I'm so sick of seeing these post.

If you've been around for a while, you know what has happened. This is a venue for those who were wronged and for the fearful. I don't think you fit. You're in control of your destiny. You can remove the offending site from your life by never coming back. Do it.
Whether I have job lined up or not, this fall rush is my last. I have had enough. The only reason I am not walking out today is because I want to leave in a professional way and I actually like my RM and employees and don't want to leave them hanging like that. For my own mental health though, I have to leave. Dealing with the insane demands of the home office and the college is just too much.

The company has permitted Infosys and other foreign companies to come in and just fleece this place. The contractors could care less, they don't have anything at stake and are laughing all the way to the bank. Give these VP's some reports and they open the checkbooks like a kid in a candy store. Multi-million invested in IT projects that are sub par and never make it to production and they still continue down the same because they don't want to admit they made a huge mistake.

He has a point. The company doesn't owe you a single thing, and in fact will screw you over. Our effort and loyalty should be the same as the company. I no longer hang around late getting work down, it is just not important. And guess what.....my check is the exact same.

Is it the best no, but do I see management trying to make some changes yes. Unfortunately there are some VP'S that want to make real change, but the man above is not progressive and does not want it. So what do you do?? Walk around and cry, complain, speak bad about a company publicly spread untrue rumors. It's sickening, it's a shame. Again this is a business and I'll say it again they owe you nothing! Come to work do your job get a life outside Follett and stop your got damn complaining
Who wants to leave? We are always being told to be a change leader. Well...suggestions about what direction the company is heading is being just that. And cutting dead weight VPs is a great suggestion. Their hefty salaries are well more than their talents deserve. So...you continue just being a good little follower and go down with the ship. Or stand up and start demanding our leaders earn their pay.
