ERP Process - it worked out well

Besides the obvious rush to get high performing, but highly paid employees out it has gone without a hitch. All pay, pension, stock, quarterly bonus, Retirement gift, and medical went without a hitch.. Maybe I'm only one of a chosen few.

I am still awaiting pension payout but I hear that takes a looooong time. I signed the paperwork on June 2. Gift card loaded Aug 3. Buyout arrived promptly June 24.

You qualify for a pension if you fall under one of the eligibility rules @1zzj. Not everyone gets a pension. It has nothing to do with how much you've saved, there's a complicated formula which has to do with the RCP. Since this has already been thoroughly discussed, and I'm not going to repeat myself here, I figured I'd post a link to my convo on this.

I couldn't get the one convo I was searching for but this one will suffice: https://www.thelayoff.com/t/I8chtyP

@izz - login to your Fidelity account and check the dollar value in your minimum pension plan.. It's on the top page

Yes, that sounds about right, @dsl. That's what I'm doing only 8/1 was my date.

I called about it today. I met with fidelity with the date set at Sept 1st to fund my minimum pension. I am rolling it into my existing 401k. It can take up to 30 days from Sept 1st. It seems like Fidelity has their act together.

Pension takes a lot longer than that to get @cbj, as I've explained in a few other posts. I asked end of June, with a 8/1 date since 7/1 was too close. It takes something like 6-8 weeks after you sign the paperwork. I have a note on my calendar for the end of August (approx 6-8 wks after starting the process).

yes, I received the $1050 exactlly 1 week ago (8/3) as did others on this site. I checked when someone mentioned they finally got there and it was finally there (wasn't there the day before). Others piped in that they got theirs too. Not sure if you were a miss, or if they are doing them in waves but you might want to check since a bunch of us got on 8/3.

Did you already start receiving from min pension with erp? We could start processing 30 days agter june 24th which is 2 weeks back. If you started getting it that is great. Any other erps got min pension yet?
