Zen is competitive with Intel. What happens if amd capture 25% of the pc market? That would equate to $10bn less revenue! Or 20,000 jobs!!!! Realistic scenario?

all it needs to do is put price pressure on the midlevel ASP and it's one more jenga block from the desktop tower and havoc in the DC
Zen will be competitive with Sandy Bridge, at best. Yes, even with highly threaded apps. In games it'll be pretty bad.

OP (trollie) here. I read the article and instructed my broker to sell Intel. Did you read it? If AMD had a better solution then the % would be higher. AMD are within a few % of Intel i7 performance at a much lower price. You don't think they take market share? You are not too bright.
