Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The event horizon is here

If the sun disappeared completely it would take minutes until we noticed the effects here in earth. The same phenomena is happening at Intel. Even with the worst management in the world Intel would produce steady cash for years. There is a time lag between bad management and notable business outcomes. That lag in the semiconductor sector is about 4 years. I think we are seeing the early signs of a company rotting from within. The oscillations are becoming more violent: absolutely no growth, failure in mobile followed quickly by IOT, the largest layoff in the company history and the end of Moore's law. Ladies and gentlemen you have front row seats to the collapse of an iconic tech company hold onto them the ride is going to get rough.

" the largest layoff in the company history "...That has yet to come and so far has been a drop in the bucket compared to what's coming.

Good analogy.

Can't wait for the useless freeloaders to get hit with the freight train that is Moore's end.
