Focus less on acquisitions, and more on refining the core products and taking care of its people; be better at what they're already good at in the market. So many failures come from aggressive growth, excessive ambition, and greed; we've seen one too many examples. When you build a company, you build a strong solid foundation. That foundation is not the technology but it's the people who drive it and make it exceptional. If Cisco focused more on stability, it's not only the employees that will return the thanks but it will also give its customers a reason to trust a company that values its core.

There was a time this happened. And whole teams moved to new technology. A tight team would learn and smoke the new Tech. But damn man, this takes balls by mid and high mgmt. They lost their guts.
