Just got my 1:1 invite ... Feels like being punched in the Gut .. But , Its my fault too . Giving a company 100% over so many years and not thinking of testing the waters outside .. But hey , lessons to be learned . Always have a plan B . Gotta dust off the old resume now

you will be thankful in a few years and looking back, and watching those who struggle there with periodic layoff and crap management. I got my 1:1 and am happy with it (hope I got it last year :-) )
Not to panic. Sometimes they just setup the 1:1 with everyone, so they don't single out the person impacted. Even if it does happen, the market is pretty good. If you are in engineering, there is a lot of demand. I am not at Cisco, but was in the past. There were queries from Bloomberg in NY for opportunities in Engg even today.
Just make use of the opportunity to brush up the resume, get the linkedIn profile straightened and start reaching out to the linkedIn contacts and just have informal conversation with them without asking for a job, but let them know that you are in career transition.
Don't make the mistake of searching for another position within Cisco. You may or may not land, since almost all of them are frozen or they are bogus roles published and they have already lined up candidates for those roles.
You are better to leave for greener pastures and might make more money and do better elsewhere.
Good luck folks
same boat. gut punch is right. good luck.
Good luck man.
