This is a painful process for those affected and those around them, but can we get information on what Cisco is emphasizing and de-emphasizing? What group are you in and what are you seeing? Adding headcount or decreasing headcount?

Bro that's a great question. However... the answer to that question has actively been sought after now for nearly a decade. If anybody had a clue, you wouldn't need to ask.
Sorry to give that kind of answer, but it's just the sad truth. The execs are always talking about "aligning with new goals" but considering they just keep laying people off.. it's clear they don't even know what they're trying to align with.
