Current situation...wishing it wasn't true, but seriously- can it get much worse? Why does the FSS president report to a company they bought?? Tragic AF

When there is no discussion of what the plan is, you can bet it won't be good. Look at the last three years. Leadership failed to discuss anything with the worker bees until it was time to show them the door.
how do you know b&t people will be kept over follett? i'm in fss it. should i worry??
Follett needs new IT leadership, maybe B&T can offer that, the path for the last few years is definitely not the right direction.
Get ready for the two companies to merge - more B&T people will be kept over Follett people.
Did the higher up lie about nothing changing? Duh!
I agree....all one sided...and Follett more broke than ever
Bake taylor = arrogant pricks that think their sh-- dont stink. Did we buy them or did they buy us?
I learned all about FUBAR at Follett. Prior to Follett I never heard that at my previous job. Such a simple acronym perfectly describes Follett for the past 4 years.
Good news, dealing with for 15 years, their customer service was always very nice & helpful,
So the guy who posted earlier from FSS and thought his job was totally safe because they were profitable........ Maybe not so safe?
I can vouch for the above statement. FSS will be apart and ran like B&T
EPIC FAILURE NUMBER what now 100, no number 1000, no wait 10,000 oh wait a minute there is isn't enough room for me to put the number of zeros needed following the "1" to list how many epic failures the company has made!!!
So basically they lied
Yay for corporate America
The answer is evident. FSS will be part of Baker & Taylor sharing accounting, IT, HR and warehouses. It will take quite a bit of time to get there.
