July 28th is the start of another round. So why do we have too put up with the Matt & Al show! Recently in Bartlesville they turned up in matching shirts and discussed about how hard its is for them to jet around the world in the private jet. I am sure their million dollar bonus's helped the pain. The issue starts with Ryan and these two idiots. Leaders they are not. Will they implement a OCE model and really look at the way this company is run? Of course not it will be a round of layoffs based on who is in the club.

I know they did away with all the portable crappers at the unconventional try to find a bush out there. Must have saved them a crap load of cash. But I still worked safe !!!!!
What about EITs? Any word on young guys getting laid off?

Pretty much the whole ELT is a joke at this point. It's not limited to a Matt and Al problem. More downsizing at the top, please. You can't just keep cutting the people who actually know how to work and make the company run.
Al was supposed to be the CEO.
Exxon is by far the most successful company in the industry, Al succeeded in Exxon because of the strong structure of the company.
Al knows that the loss structure of ConocoPhillips is not a good fit for Exxon and Therefore Exxon will never buy cop. I think Al is in cop just for retirement.

They have not removed all plants...no change in number of plants in offices at the complex.
I predict that Al will be the next CEO. He had success at XOM and has good business sense.
Also as part of saving cost, they removed all of the plants from buildings.
Very few things were actually implemented from COST. Well, actually a few things have taken hold: L48 no longer gets free cokes, the grass gets mowed less frequently at the complex, and travel is restricted.
30% Cuts ? I haven't checked this site for awhile but how can that be ? I was out last year as a result of the COST project. We got all the fair haired young brilliance of the company to determine how to position us for the future. We also paid an outside consultant a healthy fee to help us just because that's what we always do.
Now you're saying the COST project was wrong by 30% ? If that is true, everyone associated with that project should be out the door right behind Lance.
A question for those still employed. Did they ever implement anything from the COST project besides manpower cuts ?

Al is fat old a**hole, as soon as ConocoPhillips started laying off people last year he started going the the gym to show his spirit value. Of course the gym is not for people like him so he still fat.
When will a competitor put this company out of its missery - take over the assets, fire the management and keep the critical employees.
