The only reason VZ is going up is the brexit. Whenever there is uncertainty in the europe markets, they invest in US stocks that pay good dividends. VZ is one of those. When stability returns to the european markets, people will pull their money out of VZ and put it back into deflated european markets that will be ready to rise. VZ will be back in the 40's this year.
