How about putting conventionall stonefruits on sale (peach, plums, nectarines, etc) then the warehouse cant keep them in stock so all stores get none or shorted.the stuff is conventional!!!you can get that from any fruit/produce distributor.back in the day team leaders were allowed to contact local vendors to make sure storea had product.but with irma and the lack of store accountants (who remembers those!)regional would rather have empty shelves
Pallets of corn on the cob,but our customer base is 75% tourists from europe who stay in condos or hotels who dont understan our holidays nor have bbqs in the condo
We got shorted some of our autoships by UNFI, but the store looked pretty good for the holiday. We still have some talented people working in the stores, just not nearly as many of them as we used to. And it sounds like there are about to be even fewer.
