Are those numbers accurate? What a sh--show Follett is. I honestly cannot name accomplishments by any of them including RG. 1.5 years on the job and what do we have to show? Innovation website with nothing being worked on. How about all the IT failures, wholesale failures you name it. Follett is the only company I know that believes in shaking things up at the bottom employee level.

Think of how much money they could save by getting rid of most of those upper level positions.

I think it is about time to clean out the upper level. Can do it with about 1/4 of them.

I am sure that DG is not disappointed in leaving a company with no future. Make no mistakes, he will be leading another company soon that has a growing industry, getting excellent annual increases, bonuses and most importantly stock options that will be worth mega bucks. There is no rebound for Follett just look at the numbers each month. Follett growth has come solely from acquisitions of competitors in shrinking industries.

If the family wants to right the ship, they need to do two things. First, swallow their pride. Second, call Jim Bauman! Was he perfect? Absolutely not. Was the company moving in the right direction? Absolutely!

We can only hope don't hold your breath. This company might be too damaged for any rebound.

makes sense. we're about at the 3 year anniversary of the start of dg's reign of terror. i'd guess his contract is up at the 3 year mark so no gargantuan payout needed to show him the door. just sad we had to wait this long and any new leadership has their work cut out for them. this place is unhealthy and the overtime they've let this big box bozo sit in position has dug us into a pretty ominous pit. our healing process can't start until somebody at the top (rg ,board, family) hits the reset button. countdown..............
