I wonder what was offensive about the OP that moderators removed. It is a fact that Intel's benefits programs and also layoffs are affected by regional laws and limitations. I think the thread was informative that there is not any prejudice based on location but just local law.

@IpQrjUy-bte. It was not my post. I was reading it and was going to respond (I know people in HR in Europe and Asia and the different labor protections they do/don't get). The poster seemed to think employees in India get a whole lot more than Americans just because they are Indian, and that is not the case. When I got done with my response the OP was gone. Not the end of the world, but obviously something OP said was over the line.
Can you re-post? Might make it for a few hours before they take it down again.
