We don't need all of the speciality groups in low financial times! A decent geo should be able to plan, develope and do steering and characterize the reservoir they are working! We only have a few rigs running! We do not need a ton of engineers or landmen or little groups for every freaking task! TMT....what an absolute joke! Shouldn't talent management be a responsibility of your supervisor or manager? Wait...let's start a group for that!
There are too many groups! If COP wants to fix its many problems, a major purge of groups is needed.
