Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Sad

Noble is not the company it was 5 years ago. And it is not due to the low oil prices. It is more due to people being elevated into positions they have no right to be in, for it to be a job prerequisite to be a kiss a-- and people only caring about their own little world instead of the betterment of Noble.

I don't work for Noble but do work for a service provider that deals with many producers. Don't feel like you are the only ones seeing people elevated based on their ability to s--- up. It's a norm in today's world and also in the company where I work. The O&G business is in a mess right now. These companies will get what they have been building for the last few years. Dissfunctional backstabbing s--- ups. And lazy complainers.

Please don't bring the tobacco spitters to Houston. Leave that gross bunch where they are.

Noble should run Marcellus from our Houston office but be careful who we move. Lots of lazies and no talent there even in so called supervisors and management.

Canonsburg is not considered part of the exploration organization.

Nothing office specific, but read between the lines. No significant exploration. Canonsburg has done nothing drilling wise for almost a year. Last layoff was in November 2015. They still have over 100 people in that office. Time to downsize it to about 10-15 people and find a smaller office space. Yeah, canonsburg is in trouble.

It is sad. There have been many posts about undeserving people who s--- up or flirt being promoted over deserving people. I've experienced it myself. I am sad that I've devoted so much time and energy into a company that rewards people who chew, dip, drink, and shoot guns together, rather than those who do the real work.

It's not "sad". This company would rather have a bunch of a-- kissing know nothings than experienced people who know what they are doing. They deserve what's coming.
