Sorry to say I was right about more layoffs at Noble. They may cut the deadwood SDR's and with any luck Susan herself. Too bad as the damage her and her minions have caused is fatal and irreparable. I hope I get cut this time 'cause I am done with this floundering company.

As commodity prices continue to fluctuate.... our capital emphasis over the next several years will be on high return U.S. onshore activity. Our exploration and geoscience will be focused on increasing our US onshore value.
I (Dave Stover) anticipate our exploration drilling activity will be minimal .... while we concentrate on a few areas that could yield at least one new core position in the future. Unfortunately, the streamlining of our exploration program will result in a reduction in force.... This reduction will be primarily in the exploration organization and, on a more limited basis, in some functional groups that support exploration. I expect that individuals in affected positions will be notified by mid-November.

Hate to disappoint you, Susan and her DR's aren't going anywhere. You are absolutely correct that she and her entourage are responsible for irreparably damaging this company. Their vain pursuit of costly, obviously crappy and otherwise burdened projects threatens Noble's survival. Be realistic though, unlike her and the minions. Stover would be the one to drive her out and he was complicit in those decisions. Purging her would acknowledge their collective mistakes and bring accountability right to his doorstep. He's not going to do that. No, they'll simply circle the wagons, shield the privileged core and sacrifice everyone else to protect their positions.
