Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Q3 results

Be careful on those Q3 results , we have not seen anything that goes either way . Maybe someone from the company can tell us how Q3 went . The number one Institutional stock holder in BHI currently is Value Act Capitol , you are correct a very large institution pulled out of BHI . I agree VA is about to make an aggressive move on BHI . VA is a Hedge Fund out of San Francisco who buy into struggling or out of favor companies to work with the management to make money for stock holders . Some of their moves are quite barbaric , a torched earth syndrome for employees . Currently VA owns nearly 2 B of BHI . If your Q3 bombs like the last Q there could be a lot of scary Clowns in your offices.

Q3 was very profitable and it will show when the earnings are released in a couple weeks. If Value Act owns 2 billion of Baker Hughes then they own 10% of the stock. That could cause problems if they want to . I think Value Act is very happy with the progress Baker Hughes has made and continues to make . We have turned a corner.
